Uniform Shoes. The City shall provide uniform shoes to employees assigned to the position of Parking Ambassador and Animal Control Officer.
Uniform Shoes. Effective October 1, 2013, and each October thereafter, a shoe certificate will be provided to those employees in the following job classifications for the purchase of shoes. Those employees in the following classifications will make their shoe selection from a list of shoes, which will be developed by the Shoe Safety Committee comprised of two (2) Union representatives and two (2) Management representatives. Uniform Shoes. Law enforcement officers shall be considered "eligible employees" for purposes of this Section. Each eligible employee shall be reimbursed by the City up to a maximum of $50.00 each calendar year towards the purchase of approved uniform shoes. Alternatively, an eligible employee who did not receive any uniform shoe reimbursement during the previous calendar year shall be reimbursed by the City up to a maximum of $100.00 during the following calendar year. Further, an eligible employee who did not receive any uniform shoe reimbursement during the previous two calendar years shall be reimbursed by the City up to a maximum of $150.00 during the following calendar year. Before any reimbursement is made by the City, the uniform shoes must be approved by the Chief, and proof of their purchase must be submitted by the eligible employee to the Chief.

  • Court Appearance Leave Without Pay An employee may request and shall be granted leave without pay for the time required to make an appearance as a plaintiff or defendant in a civil or criminal court proceeding that is not connected with the employee's officially assigned duties. However, reduction in salary will not be made for an FLSA-exempt employee to testify in court or at a deposition except for full workweek increments where such testimony causes an absence of one (1) or more full workweeks.
