Tenure Track Appointment. Associate Professor
Tenure Track Appointment. This designates an appointment that is probationary and whose duration is normally no more or less than six (6) years.
Tenure Track Appointment. Professor For tenure-track Members hired at the rank of Professor, the process for application for tenure is outlined in Article 26.2(a). The criteria for tenure are in Article 26.17.
Tenure Track Appointment i) Normally, Members will apply for tenure in the penultimate year of the tenure-track appointment.
Tenure Track Appointment. A tenure track appointment is one that leads to eligibility for consideration for appointment with tenure. Time spent in a tenure track appointment in the academic unit within which tenure is sought shall count toward the time for mandatory review for tenure. Notification of the year of mandatory review shall be made in the initial appointment letter. Non-retention of a tenure track appointment shall be made in accordance with the notification time periods required by this Agreement. A tenure track appointment may be made at less than one hundred (100) percent, but no less than fifty-one (51) percent, of full-time equivalent (FTE) status. The titles of assistant professor, associate professor, and professor shall be used to denote rank of tenure track UNAC bargaining unit members.
Tenure Track Appointment. 5.2.1.1 Initial appointments for all tenure track members are for three (3) years, with the exception of those appointed under Article 5.2.1.2, and shall normally commence on July 1. This type of appointment is with appropriate rank and a full range of academic responsibilities as follows:

The Bargaining Unit Member’s percent of FTE status can only be increased or decreased with the consent of the Bargaining Unit Member and the approval of the chancellor with the recommendation from the xxxxxxx and appropriate xxxx or campus executive.
Tenure Track Appointment. A ranked faculty appointment by the Board of Trustees that is probationary in nature and makes the holder eligible for consideration for tenure.
