Sectio n. The provisions of Article of the January Agreement shall apply to employees adversely affected by the application this Article. This shall become effective November except ,on carriers as may elect to preserve existing rules or practices and so the authorized employee representatives on or before such date. Article XII of the January Agreement shall not apply on any carrier on which this Article becomes effective. XXXXX
Sectio n. A grievance shall consist of a dispute concerning interpretation, and application of any clause in t h i s Agreement, alleged violation of the Agreement and alleged abuses of discretion by supervision in the treatment of employees contrary t o the of this Agreement. If any question arises as t o whether a particular dispute is, or is not a grievance within the meaning of these provisions, t h e question may be taken up through the Grievance Procedure and determined, i f necessary, by Arbitration. There shall be an xxxxxxx effort on the part of both parties t o settle such promptly through the following steps:
Sectio n. (a) The Company agrees i n principle, t o the deduction of monies t o be submitted t o a duly chartered Credit such deduction to be restricted t o one (1) registered Credit Union. If additional Credit Unions require payroll deductions, it will be a requisite of the Company and the Union to mutually agree to such deductions. ARTICLE
Sectio n. The Company agrees t o supply each regular employee required to work outside in inclement weather with good quality gloves and overshoes which w i l l be replaced as necessary. ARTICLE

In the event of the partial closure of a garage, as a result of the work being moved t o another and' which results in a reduction of employees in the garage so affected, the following w i l l apply: a meeting w i l l be held between the Company and the Union t h i r t y days prior to the partial closure i n an effort to reach a satisfactory for a l l concerned i n the garage from which the work is being moved failing agreement under paragraph employees i n the garage affected shall have f i r s t opportunity of moving with the work or exercising their seniority within their own garage. If any of these employees elect to exercise their seniority and bump into other work within their own garage, then the available vacancies a t the garage where the work is being moved t o shall be posted for bid in accordance with their seniority, to those qualified employees i n the garage from where the work is being moved Sectio n (continued) any employee who is laid off as a result of the partial closure w i l l be given fourteen days' notice of such layoff or pay i n l i e u thereof; it must be clearly established t h a t there is a movement of work in order for t h e above provision t o apply; any dispute arising under the above provisions shall be referred to Arbitration as outlined i n Article
Sectio n. The Company w i l l notify the Union by registered m a i l or telegram prior t o the suspension or discharge of a xxxxxxx. Failure of the Company to comply with this procedure shall render the dismissal or suspension null and void.
Sectio n. Employees required to dead-head shall be paid tho prevailing hourly rate. This shall include breakdowns and a l l etc. Drivers will not dead-bead i n vehicles which are not equipped with passenger seats.
Sectio n. Employees who are discharged shall have the discharge confinned in writing and their pay w i l l be forwarded by registered mail to their last known address within three

For the purpose of processing specific grievances or disputes, business representatives and stewards shall have relevant trip sheets, book-in, book-out time cards and personnel disciplinary records made available to them within twenty- four at the terminal during t h e office hours of the Company and at other terminals within five (5) working days.
