Scope of Design Professionals Services. 2.1 SERVICES DEFINED The Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 2. Subsequent information may be incorporated into the PAA that further describes the Services required for a specific component of a Project. To the extent deemed necessary by the Design Professional, the Design Professional shall employ Design Professionals, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineers licensed as such by the State of California, and such other consultants necessary for the provision of services under this Agreement. All consultants provided by the Design Professional shall be paid by the Design Professional. The Design Professional shall submit, for approval by the District, names of consultants for each professional element of service of the Project. District-approved consultants provided under Basic Services shall be as named below or as stated in the PAA. Consultant Name Discipline [NAME] [DISCIPLINE] Nothing in the foregoing shall create any contractual relationship between District and any consultants employed by Design Professional under the terms of this Agreement. The Design Professional is as responsible for the performance of its consultants as it would be if it had rendered these services itself, and shall be responsible for all coordination and checking for completeness and accuracy with regard to errors or omissions.

  • Design Professional to Design Work The Design Professional Contract requires the Design Professional to design and to prepare the Contract Documents, a copy of which shall be furnished to the Contractor upon request. The Design Professional Contract requires the Design Professional to designate a readily accessible representative (either on Site or by computer, phone or fax or otherwise) who shall have authority promptly to render decisions and to furnish information required of the Design Professional.

  • Coordination of Design and Construction Contract Documents 5.5.1 Review model(s), Drawings, Specifications and other Construction Documents as they are developed by A/E during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents design phases of the Project.

  • Release of Design Plan The Engineer (1) will not release any roadway design plan created or collected under this contract except to its subproviders as necessary to complete the contract; (2) shall include a provision in all subcontracts which acknowledges the State’s ownership of the design plan and prohibits its use for any use other than the project identified in this contract; and (3) is responsible for any improper use of the design plan by its employees, officers, or subproviders, including costs, damages, or other liability resulting from improper use. Neither the Engineer nor any subprovider may charge a fee for the portion of the design plan created by the State.

  • Schematic Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.

  • Design Professional The architect or engineer or architectural or engineering firm selected by Owner (i) for the design and preparation of Contract Documents governing the construction of a Project, or (ii) for construction contract administration under the Contract Documents, or (iii) for both, all such services and the scope thereof to be set forth in the Design Professional Contract. The Design Professional is not an employee of the Owner but is engaged or retained by it for the purpose of performing design and construction administration services for the project. The term “Design Professional” includes architects, engineers, surveyors, designers, and other consultants retained by the Design Professional.

  • Joint Network Implementation and Grooming Process Upon request of either Party, the Parties shall jointly develop an implementation and grooming process (the “Joint Grooming Process” or “Joint Process”) which may define and detail, inter alia:

  • Modified Indemnity Where Agreement Involves Design Professional Services Notwithstanding the forgoing, if the services provided under this Agreement are design professional services, as defined by California Civil Code section 2782.8, as may be amended from time to time, the defense and indemnity obligation under Section 1, above, shall be limited to the extent required by California Civil Code section 2782.8.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.
