City will be responsible for repairing any holes or pockets in the concrete as described in Exhibit E. City has the right to perform random safety checks.

Within three months of the Effective Date, the County and the Sheriff 14 will revise and implement their policies on safety checks to ensure a range of 15 supervision for prisoners housed in Mental Health Housing. If a check is required, you will not be able to undertake any volunteering for the Trust until a current certificate has been obtained and reviewed. If you don’t need a DBS check when you begin volunteering but your role then changes or you take on an additional role which requires a check we will arrange for a DBS check to be done as and when needed. DBS checks must be renewed every three years, and this can be done electronically. If your circumstances change in relation to your health, criminal record, suitability to work with adults or children or any other aspect that may impact on your suitability to volunteer, you must inform your Volunteer Co-ordinator as soon as possible. A decision will be made promptly as to whether you are able to continue volunteering, whether we need to suspend your volunteering while we obtain more information, or whether the volunteering placement has to cease. City will be responsible for repairing any holes or pockets in the concrete as described in Attachment 1. City has the right to perform random safety checks.

Tenant shall (i) perform the applicable housekeeping and preventative maintenance services described in the NPA Manual, (ii) repair defects (which expression includes openings, cracks, holes, pockets, or other defects that are apparent on visual examination) in the concrete and surface defects that are safety hazards, (iii) take appropriate steps to erect signage or barriers or to warn or detour the general public, and inform Landlord of the existence of the safety hazards and (iv) repair any holes or pockets in the concrete and re- caulk joints in the concrete.
