Review of Assigned Duties. When an employee alleges that regularly assigned duties constituting a significant portion of the employee's work time are duties not included in the employee's position description or the class specification to which the position is assigned, the employee may request a review. If the review results in a reclassification, any pay adjustment shall be effective on the date of that decision.

The Director shall issue his/her decision within fifteen (15) days following receipt of the request for review. If the employee does not agree with the Director’s decision, he/she may appeal to the President or designee. The President of designee shall issue his/her decision within twenty (20) days following receipt of the employee’s appeal. The decision of the President or designee is final. If the complaint review meeting results in a reclassification, any pay adjustment shall be effective on the date of that decision.

The employee has the right to PBA representation at the review meeting.
