Common use of Regular Maintenance Clause in Contracts

Regular Maintenance. Tenant agrees, at Xxxxxx’s expense, to maintain the yard in good condition—i.e. keeping the grass cut, edged, and trimmed; keeping trash, limbs, etc. picked up and properly disposed of off Premises; keeping the shrubs and other plantings appropriately trimmed and at proper levels, usually not higher than window xxxxx. Deterioration of the lawns and landscaping caused by abuse, misuse or neglect, including damage caused by pets, lack of watering, inadequate fertilizing and weed control, is Tenant’s responsibility. Tenant is expected to keep the yard in at least as good a condition as at the beginning of occupancy.
