Protective Clothing and Supplies. Cowichan Tribes will supply protective clothing supplies as required by WorkSafe BC. Cowichan Tribes will maintain a sufficient level of disinfectant, face masks, and other needed supplies, to be used in the event of a Provincially Declared Health Emergency. Safety clothing and personal protective equipment provided by Cowichan Tribes are the sole property of Cowichan Tribes. Cowichan Tribes will provide PPE to all staff performing on-site work, including face masks. Face mask quality will follow the guidelines set by the Federal government, which may be subject to change. In the event the Federal government has not set guidelines on mask quality, the parties will agree to follow guidelines set by other acclaimed health organizations such as the BC Centre for Disease Control.

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment A) The Employer shall provide all employees working in any unsanitary or potentially hazardous job all necessary tools, protective clothing and equipment required, including gloves, masks, helmets, safety glasses, coveralls, boots and shoes.
