Premium Pay for Overtime. (a) Overtime shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) the employee's normal rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours during the first five days of the workweek.

Premium Pay for Overtime. 5.4.1 Overtime Rate: Effective January 1, 2004, all hours worked in excess of eighty hours per the aforesaid bi-weekly schedule will be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay (refer to 4.4.1 above). However, should the parties revert to the standard forty hour work week, overtime shall be paid in accordance with 4.1.2, above. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, longevity will be included in the computation of overtime.
Premium Pay for Overtime. An employee who is called in to perform work at a time other than that for which he or she had previously been scheduled shall receive a minimum of three (3) straight time hours of pay or premium pay for the hours actually worked, whichever is greater. This provision does not apply to employees who were previously scheduled to start work prior to their regular starting time or who may be retained after their regular quitting time nor shall it apply to employees who are called in for periods of less than three (3) hours prior to the start of their shift but who continue to work their regular shift thereafter. However, the City agrees not to shorten the employee’s regularly scheduled shift to avoid paying premium pay.

  • Compensation for Overtime 9.5.1 All overtime hours, except those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) hours in one day, shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to time and one-half the regular rate of pay of the employee. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Eligibility for Overtime Compensation (a) Overtime compensation rates for all hours worked in excess of the workday and workweek identified below shall be as follows:

  • Retiree Benefits – Process for Payment Any bargaining unit nurse who retires and wishes to participate in the benefit plans as outlined in article 17.01(h) will provide advance payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorized withdrawal process. It is understood that any transaction would be dated the first of each and every month. The Employer will notify the Union of the benefit costs to retired nurses in January of each year, and each time the benefit costs are renegotiated by the Employer.

  • Holiday Pay Eligibility ‌ In order to be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must be in a pay status on the last regularly scheduled working day immediately before or on the first regularly scheduled day immediately after the holiday (§ 2-18-603, Mont. Code Xxx.). If a new employee or an employee returning from inactive status or layoff reports to work on a day following the holiday, the employee will not receive compensation for the holiday except as provided for in Section 7.
