Positions Temporarily Vacant. (a) The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that the workloads of employees will not be unnecessarily increased as a result of positions temporarily vacant due to illness, vacation leave, in-service training, or any other reason.
Positions Temporarily Vacant. (a) The Employer agrees that except in the case of emergency, an Employee’s workload will not be increased as a result of positions being temporarily vacant due to illness, vacation, leave of absence, or any other reason. Disputes arising out of this Article shall first be referred to the Employee’s supervisor. Failing resolution within three (3) work days, the matter shall be referred to the Labour/Management Committee.

Positions Temporarily Vacant. Where temporary relief is required due to illness, vacation, leave of absence, etc., the Employer shall give regular employees the opportunity to relieve in higher paying positions and shall make every reasonable effort to arrange for staff replacements in the lowest paid category.

(a) The Employer will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the workload of an employee covered by this Agreement shall not be increased as a result of positions temporarily vacant due to illness, vacation, leave of absence or any other reason. The Employer shall maintain a list of on- call employees where the nature of the work performed is of a continuous nature.
Positions Temporarily Vacant. (a) The Authority will make every effort to maintain a list of qualified on call employees to provide vacancy coverage and to make every reasonable effort to backfill vacant positions.
Positions Temporarily Vacant. Vacancies of short duration or vacancies resulting from absenteeism, illness, injury, vacation, leave of absence, maternity or parental leave, will be filled subject to member needs as determined by Citizens Bank of Canada.
Positions Temporarily Vacant. (a) The Employer agrees that it is not the normal practice to increase an employee's workload as a result of positions being temporarily vacant. However, vacancies of a short duration, or vacancies occurring as a result of unplanned circumstances, or vacancies where a suitable replacement employee is not found, may dictate the necessity of employee(s) being asked to assist in other work areas.
Positions Temporarily Vacant. (a) Should the Employer choose to fill a temporarily vacant position and should the vacancy be known to last for two weeks or longer, the Employer shall give qualified regular employees the opportunity to substitute in higher paying positions and arrange for staff replacements at the lowest-paying category.
Positions Temporarily Vacant. The Employer agrees to maintain a list of part-time employees such that they may be brought in, by seniority, when the need arises.
