Overtime Staffing. It is understood by the Council that the nature of the Employer’s operation may require overtime work and that, under such circumstances, the Council is obliged to encourage those it represents to work overtime, as requested by the Employer, in accordance with established procedures for distribution thereof.

Overtime Staffing. Emergent or off-normal situations may arise for a number of reasons in work evolutions at any of the work sites within the MCS operation. In addition, workload perturbations may result in requirements for additional scheduled or unscheduled work to be completed in the workweek. In an effort to complete such work in a timely and efficient manner the overtime opportunities will be offered to the represented workers within the respective classifications responsible for the work scope execution. The Union commits to work with the Company to assure overtime opportunities are staffed. When overtime canvassing in the respective group exhausts the applicable overtime list, the Company will canvas from qualified back up overtime list(s) to efficiently staff the work, for which at least one back up list, or mutually agreed upon alternate assignments to others qualified, may be made for each list, or through the implementation of special shifts, in order to ensure adequate coverage of work.
Overtime Staffing. The Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds will make an effort to schedule no less than two staff members in the building at one time for projected work for safety reasons to ensure no individual is in the building working alone. The Board of Education reserves the right to schedule one person for non-project work, supervision of the building when the building is open for activities and at other times it is in the best interest of the Board to schedule only one individual.

  • Staffing Consultant will designate in writing to Authority its representative, and the manner in which it will provide staff support for the project, which must be approved by Authority. Consultant must notify Authority’s Contract Representative of any change in personnel assigned to perform work under this Contract, and the Authority’s Contract Representative has the right to reject the person or persons assigned to fill the position or positions. The Authority’s Contract Representative shall also have the right to require the removal of the Consultant’s previously assigned personnel, including Consultant’s representative, provided sufficient cause for such removal exists. The criteria for requesting removal of an individual will be based on, but not limited to, the following: technical incompetence, inability to meet the position’s qualifications, failure to perform, poor attendance, ethics violation, unsafe work habits, or damage to Authority or other property. Upon notice for removal, Consultant shall replace such personnel with personnel substantially equal in ability and qualifications for the positions and shall submit the proposed replacement personnel qualification and abilities to the Authority, in writing, for approval.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.

  • Project Staffing Prior to the start of any work under this Agreement, Consultant must submit to City detailed resumes of key personnel that will be involved in performing services prescribed in the Agreement. City hereby acknowledges its acceptance of such personnel to perform services under this Agreement. At any time hereafter that Consultant desires to change key personnel while performing under the Agreement, Consultant must submit the qualifications of the new personnel to City for prior approval. Key personnel include, but are not limited to, principals-in-charge, project manager, and project Consultant. Consultant will maintain an adequate and competent staff of qualified persons, as may be determined by City, throughout the performance of this Agreement to ensure acceptable and timely completion of the Scope of Services. If City objects, with reasonable cause, to any of Consultant’s staff, Consultant must take prompt corrective action acceptable to City and, if required, remove such personnel from the Project and replace with new personnel agreed to by City.

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members. Recognition will be given to the qualifications of the members and the requirements placed on the City by any third party funding sources. Any complaints by members that pre-scheduled overtime is not being equitably distributed among all qualified members as described above may be brought by the Lodge directly to the Chief's attention at Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure and shall also be a proper subject for discussion in a Labor Relations Committee meeting. Inability to work a prescheduled overtime assignment due to illness or death in the family or injury will not require the member to charge such absence against sick leave or injury leave.

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Surplus Staffing 8.8.1 In the case of a surplus staffing situation arising at Xx Xxx o Xx Xxxx Pounamu Part 9 of the Agreement shall apply to teachers covered by this Agreement except:

  • Maternity Services Your benefits for maternity services are the same as your benefits for any other condition and are available whether you have Individual Coverage or Family Coverage. Benefits will be provided for delivery charges and for any of the pre­ viously described Covered Services when rendered in connection with pregnancy. Benefits will be provided for any treatment of an illness, injury, congenital defect, birth abnormality or a premature birth from the moment of the birth up to the first 31 days, thereafter, you must add the newborn child to your Family Coverage. Premiums will be adjusted accordingly. Coverage will be provided for the mother and the newborn for a minimum of:

  • Classroom Teachers b. School counselors

  • Wellness A. To support the statewide goal for a healthy and productive workforce, employees are encouraged to participate in a Well-Being Assessment survey. Employees will be granted work time and may use a state computer to complete the survey.
