Meteorological Services. 1. Each Member State shall collect and disseminate to the other Member States meteorological information in order to facilitate the efficient operation of air navigation, coastal shipping, inland water transport and the issuing of cyclone warnings and other adverse weather phenomena. To this end, the Member States agree to establish a Regional Meteorological Centre.
Meteorological Services. The State of South Dakota in cooperation with South Dakota School of Mines will provide a meteorologist along with the National Weather Service.

For the aircraft of the designated airline of one Contracting Party flying from its own country to the territory of the other Contracting Party on the specified route, the relevant Authorities of the other Contracting Party undertakes to provide the following meteorological information in its own territory to the relevant Authorities of the first Contracting Party three hours before the departure of such aircraft from the last point of call outside the territory of the other Contracting Party:
Meteorological Services. Mutually acceptable meteorological service shall be provided in accordance with standards and recommended practices, to the extent to which they are applicable, developed pursuant to the Convention of the World Meteorological Organization and International Civil Aviation Organization.

Alternatively, the Concessionaire may sign an agreement provided by AAI wherein the metrological services shall be part of AAI services. In case of such agreement with AAI, the Concessionaire shall not be required to sign a separate agreement with IMD for provision of Aviation Metrological services.
Meteorological Services. 1. The Member States shall ensure closer cooperation among providers of aeronautical meteorological information and services.
Meteorological Services. In accordance with paragraph 2.1.4 of Annex 3 to the ICAO Convention, ENAC shall cooperate to provide meteorological services for international air navigation on behalf of the Republic of San Marino.
Meteorological Services. The four air navigation services, i.e. air traffic services (ATS), communication, navigation and surveillance services (CNS), aeronautical information services (AIS) and meteorological services (MET), shall be provided in NEFAB and shall therefore be subject to the application of this Agreement, in particular with regard to FAB governance and oversight. Meteorological Services. 22.1 The Contracting States shall ensure cooperation among providers of meteorological services. 22.2 Each Contracting State may designate the providers of the Meteorological services in the Contracting States are provided by organisations independent of the providers for ATS. The providers of ATS in NEFAB would encourage stronger cooperation between the meteorological service providers through agreeing on common specifications, making common procurement of meteorological services possible. Existing and even better future cooperation or integration among providers of meteorological services should result in reduced duplication of effort.
