Measurement of Student Progress. One task of the Reform Committee (See Paragraph 4, below) shall be to assess and recommend improved measures of progress in student learning as well as measurement of environmental factors that may impact student learning.

Measurement of Student Progress. Measurement of Student Progress In all program areas and at all levels, ACVS will assess student progress toward achieving learner goals and program area performance standards including: the content and data; the accomplishment of appropriate academic skills; the development of communication, critical thinking and reasoning; and the development of social competence. ACVS will use assessment results to improve the educational program, and use effective and appropriate tools for assessing such progress. This may include, but is not limited to: standardized tests; criterion-referenced tests; teacher-made tests; ongoing observation and evaluation; actual communication assessments such as writing, speaking, and listening assessments; samples of student work and/or narrative reports passed from grade to grade; samples of students' creative and/or performance work; and surveys of carry-over skills to other program areas and outside of school. This will accomplish ACVS’s goal for all students to meet, at a minimum, the standards established by the state.

  • Performance Review Where a performance review of an employee’s performance is carried out, the employee shall be given sufficient opportunity after the interview to read and review the performance review. Provision shall be made on the performance review form for an employee to sign it. The form shall provide for the employee’s signature in two (2) places, one (1) indicating that the employee has read and accepts the performance review, and the other indicating that the employee disagrees with the performance review. The employee shall sign in only one (1) of the places provided. No employee may initiate a grievance regarding the contents of a performance review unless the signature indicates disagreement. An employee shall, upon request, receive a copy of this performance review at the time of signing. An employee’s performance review shall not be changed after an employee has signed it, without the knowledge of the employee, and any such changes shall be subject to the grievance procedure of this Agreement. The employee may respond, in writing, to the performance review. Such response will be attached to the performance review.

Each regional LMP council shall develop approaches aimed at reducing variation between medical centers, facilities and departments in the resources available for partnership. In particular, such a plan should: » ensure at a regional level there is adequate time for teams to review performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and test changes to drive improvement; and » provide regional or facility support to departments as needed to cross-cover or backfill and jointly determine the most cost-effective manner to provide the support.

  • Orientation and In-Service Program The Hospital recognizes the need for a Hospital Orientation Program of such duration as it may deem appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Hospital and the nurses involved.

  • Performance Reviews The Employee will be provided with a written performance appraisal at least once per year and said appraisal will be reviewed at which time all aspects of the assessment can be fully discussed.
