Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. If Authority determines that any additional traffic signage is needed, or desired, as a result of this Agreement and in the interests of safety, then Operator shall provide for such signage at Operator’s sole expense. In the event that any other safety concerns should arise during the course of this Agreement, Operator and Authority agree that they will mutually discuss such concerns and reach a resolution satisfactory to all concerned.

Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The permittee may be required to submit a traffic control plan to the County for approval prior to starting work. During work, the County or designee may require the permittee to use additional traffic control devices to protect traffic or the work area. No road closure shall occur without prior approval from the County. COUNTY’S RIGHT NOT TO BE INTERFERED WITH. All authorized work shall be done by Permittee so as to cause the least interference with any of the County’s work, and the County shall not be liable for any damage to the Permittee by reason of any such work by the County, its agents, contractors or representatives, or by the exercise of any rights by the County upon the roadways from the application of dust control authorized under this permit. If County roadway changes necessitate construction, alteration, repair, maintenance or improvement of the County roadway, the County shall not be held liable for disturbances of the dust suppressant applied under this permit. APPLICANT shall provide flagger(s) who are currently certified by the Montana flagger training program; the ATSSA flagger program; or the Idaho, Oregon, or Washington state flagger training programs.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991.   • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Fire, Life Safety, and Accessibility Codes The following codes, in the versions approved by the Georgia State Fire Marshal/Fire Safety Commissioner and Department of Human Resources, shall be used. The Design Professional will designate any additional codes or special modifications in the Supplementary General Conditions.

  • Export Control Compliance User acknowledges that Center is an open laboratory for fundamental research that has many foreign persons as its employees and students. User understands and agrees that under no circumstances will User bring export control-listed items, or unpublished software source code or technical information in the form of defense articles or technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), to Center. Use of Center or facilities for activity subject to the ITAR, including the development, assembly or fabrication of defense articles identified on the US Munitions List, is prohibited.

  • Access to Network Interface Device (NID 2.4.3.1. Due to the wide variety of NIDs utilized by BellSouth (based on subscriber size and environmental considerations), Mpower may access the on-premises wiring by any of the following means: BellSouth shall allow Mpower to connect its loops directly to BellSouth’s multi-line residential NID enclosures that have additional space and are not used by BellSouth or any other telecommunications carriers to provide service to the premise. Mpower agrees to install compatible protectors and test jacks and to maintain the protection system and equipment and to indemnify BellSouth pursuant to Section 8 of the General Terms and Conditions of this Agreement.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

  • Local Control Center, Metering and Telemetry The NTO shall operate, pursuant to ISO Tariffs, ISO Procedures, Reliability Rules and all other applicable reliability rules, standards and criteria on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, a suitable local control center(s) with all equipment and facilities reasonably required for the ISO to exercise ISO Operational Control over NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control, and for the NTO to fulfill its responsibilities under this Agreement. Operation of the NYS Power System is a cooperative effort coordinated by the ISO control center in conjunction with local control centers and will require the exchange of all reasonably necessary information. The NTO shall provide the ISO with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (“SCADA”) information on facilities listed in Appendices A-1 and A-2 herein as well as on generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to the NTO’s transmission facilities pursuant to the ISO OATT. The NTO shall provide metering data for its transmission facilities to the ISO, unless other parties are authorized by the appropriate regulatory authority to provide metering data. The NTO shall collect and submit to the ISO billing quality metering data and any other information for its transmission facilities required by the ISO for billing purposes. The NTO shall provide to the ISO the telemetry and other operating data from generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to its transmission facilities that the ISO requires for the operation of the NYS Power System. The NTO will establish and maintain a strict code of conduct to prevent such information from reaching any unauthorized person or entity.
