S:\ADMIN\HOMEPAGE\GTC-610.doc In order to accomplish PROJECT(s) through the most effective means available, a collaborative relationship will be formed as agreed to by PARTIES in Section 4.5 “STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION.” As part of this collaborative relationship, a cooperative management team would be developed, which would draw on the strengths of each team member in an effort to achieve a quality project within budget and on schedule. Collaboration is strongly encouraged in preference to formal dispute resolution and adjudication mechanisms. Collaboration in this context is intended to be mandatory, but non-binding. The identified procedures will be available for use by the Stakeholders to resolve issues that may arise during the performance of FACILITY WORK. INITIAL KICK-OFF WORKSHOP In order to achieve effective and efficient completion of the PROJECT(s), the Stakeholders agree to conduct a kick-off workshop where they will identify issues for resolution that are present or foreseeable and engage in joint problem solving and action planning on the issues identified.
