Joint Resolution Committee. The JRC will consist of six voting Board Members, the two Board Chairs plus two additional Members from each Board. JRC Chairmanship will rotate between the Board Chairs every two years, starting with the Endowment. Additional non-voting experts may be brought in at the discretion of the JRC. The CEO will serve as a non-voting member. If there is a tie vote, a third-party mediator, agreed upon by both Board Chairs, will be brought in to resolve the difference. In accordance with good governance, it is expected that any JRC Member will recuse him/herself, or be directed to recuse him/herself by the JRC, if there is a potential conflict of interest. If a member is recused, an alternate member will be appointed by the respective Board Chair.

  • Negotiation Committee (A) The Union may designate certain employees to serve on its Negotiation Committee, and such employees will be granted administrative leave to attend negotiating sessions with the state. No employee shall be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee's regular workday for any day the employee is in negotiations. The agency shall not reimburse employees for travel, meals, lodging, or any expense incurred in connection with attendance at negotiating sessions.

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall report their views on the progress of the Project to the Steering Committee in writing if requested by the Department.
