Holiday on Regular Day Off. 9.4.1 In the event that a designated holiday falls upon a normal day off which is either a Saturday, as to a unit member who works a Monday through Friday workweek, or the first day off of his/her normal two (2) or more days off, as to a unit member whose workweek is one other than Monday through Friday, then in either such event such unit member, as the case may be, shall thereafter receive one (1) additional day of vacation therefore; and each such unit member who is required to work on such Saturday or first day off shall, in addition, receive compensation therefore at the rate of time and one-half of his/her regu- lar base rate of pay.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. Employees assigned alternative work schedules may sometimes have holidays fall on their regular days off. If a holiday falls on a full-time employee’s regularly scheduled day off, eight (8) or nine (9) hours of holiday time will be credited to the employee’s vacation balance. Credit for City Holiday time on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off shall not increase the employee’s maximum vacation accrual allowance. Consequently, a full-time employee who has a regularly scheduled day off on a City Holiday and who is already at the maximum vacation accrual balance will be denied the additional eight (8) or nine (9) hours of paid time off that they would have otherwise been credited.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. Employees assigned alternative work schedules may sometimes have holidays fall on their regular days off. If a holiday falls on a full-time employee’s regularly scheduled day off, a full day’s work of eight (8) hours or nine (9) hours of holiday time will be credited to the employee’s vacation balance. Note: Article 17 (Vacation) provides additional information about the limitations to vacation accrual when an employee’s regularly scheduled day off falls on a City Holiday.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. If any of the above-named holidays occurs on a Full-time Registered Nurse's regular days off, such Nurse will receive an additional day off in lieu at a mutually agreed time.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. When a holiday falls on an employee's regular day off he/she shall be compensated with either equivalent time off within the pay period or pay at straight time, at the option of the department head.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. When an employee's regular day off falls on a recognized holiday, another day may be taken in lieu at a time mutually agreed between employee and Supervisor, such a day must be used no later than June 30 the following year.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. An employee scheduled for a day off on a day observed as a legal holiday shall receive a day off with pay either on the day preceding the holiday or on another day following the holiday in the same pay period or as requested by the employee and approved by the employee's supervisor, whichever allows a day off in addition to the employee's regularly scheduled days off (2-18-603, MCA).
Holiday on Regular Day Off. An employee whose regular day off falls on a Holiday shall be granted a lieu day off within three months at a time mutually agreed between the employee and Supervisor. Failing mutual agreement, a lieu day of pay shall be paid. Rate of Pay for Work on a Holiday An employee required to work on a Holiday shall be paid in accordance with Article ARTICLE LEAVES OF ABSENCE
Holiday on Regular Day Off. When a holiday falls on an eligible employee’s 20 regularly scheduled day off, the employee will have the option of receiving the holiday pay at the 21 straight time rate in the same pay period, or of converting and banking the holiday hours as 22 compensatory time at the straight time rate for use after the actual holiday.
Holiday on Regular Day Off. An employee whose regular day off falls on a fixed holiday shall receive equivalent holiday time off at a later date.
