HEALTH LEAVE OF ABSENCE. 11.6.1 Upon request, the School Board may approve an unpaid health leave of absence from duty for any teacher whose absence is required because of illness or accident for any period of time up to one (1) year beyond the “extended illness leave”. (Refer to 11.5) Such leave of absence may be granted only upon recommendation of his/her doctor.
