Guaranteed Overtime. As used in this Contract is premium pay based both upon the specific type of hours worked, such as standby, unscheduled call-in duty, double-backs, etc. The overtime rate of 1 1/2 times the regular base hourly rate is paid, guaranteed, for all of the specific hours worked whether the total hours worked for the week exceed 40 hours or not. Since the specified hours are already guaranteed overtime pay, they are not counted again as hours actually worked for purposes of calculating additional overtime for the week. If counted again as hours actually worked toward overtime, the result would be a duplication of pyramiding of overtime which is not permitted by the terms of this Contract.

Guaranteed Overtime. Shift employees shall be paid overtime at the rate of 1 1/2 times their regular base hourly rate for a guaranteed twelve (12) hours worked during a 27-day work period. As used in this Agreement is premium pay based upon the specific type of hours worked, such as emergency call-in or standby hours worked. Hours which are specified as “guaranteed” are paid at the overtime rate of 1 1/2 times the regular base hourly rate. Since the specified hours are already guaranteed overtime pay, they are not counted again as hours actually worked for purposes of calculating additional overtime for the week or pay cycle. If counted again as hours actually worked toward overtime, the result would be a duplication or pyramiding of overtime, which is not permitted by the terms of this Agreement.
Guaranteed Overtime. On those occasions when it is necessary to call an Employee in for overtime work after regular working hours and not in continuation thereof, the Employee shall be credited with a minimum of two (2) hours overtime.
Guaranteed Overtime. Guaranteed overtime payments shall be not less than 103 hours per month for ratings with a 40-hour normal working week. Agreements already in force providing for guaranteed overtime payments outside these limits may remain in effect as provided for above.

  • Banked Overtime In the event the day in lieu of working the statutory holiday is not provided as stipulated in 8.01.04, this portion may also be banked.

  • Guaranteed Maximum Costs The City’s payment obligation to Contractor cannot at any time exceed the amount certified by City’s Controller for the purpose and period stated in such certification.   • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Unscheduled Overtime I. a payment of forty dollars ($40.00) as a meal allowance.

  • No Guaranteed Work Work authorizations are issued at the discretion of the State. While it is the State's intent to issue work authorizations hereunder, the Engineer shall have no cause of action conditioned upon the lack or number of work authorizations issued.

  • Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties.
