Grievance Discussion. It is understood and agreed that the xxxxxxx and the aggrieved employee shall discuss and prepare grievance during non-working hours. However, the xxxxxxx and the aggrieved employee shall not suffer a loss of pay for the time necessarily lost from work for the purpose of discussion of a potential grievance with the supervisor.

Grievance Discussion. A regular employee or employee representative will be unimpeded and free from restraint, discrimination, interference, or reprisal in seeking appropriate adjustment of a grievance provided, however, that an employee's representative may not participate in an informal discussion with the supervisor as required prior to the filing of a formal written grievance.
