Goals of the Program Sample Clauses

Goals of the Program. The goals of the Program are to provide a safe environment for grieving children to express their grief and reach children who cannot access the services available at the Highmark Caring Place facilities. In addition, the Foundation hopes to help grieving children identify others in their school to whom they can turn if and when needed; help schools become more “grief friendly”; and provide a format that balances the need for children and teens to process their grief, with the fact that they will need to return to their school activities after group meetings. In addition, Foundation hopes that after completing the Session School will be able to continue the Program on its own.
