General Administration of Construction Contract. Consult with Owner and act as Owner’s representative as provided in the Construction Contract. The extent and limitations of the duties, responsibilities, and authority of Engineer shall be as assigned below. All of Owner’s instructions to Contractor will be issued through Engineer, which shall have authority to act on behalf of Owner in dealings with Contractor to the extent provided in this Agreement and the Construction Contract except as otherwise provided in writing.

The extent and limitations of the duties, responsibilities, and authority of Engineer shall be as assigned in EJCDC® C-700, Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract (2013 Edition), prepared by the Engineers Joint Contract Documents Committee, or other construction general conditions specified in this Agreement. If Owner, or Owner and Contractor, modify the duties, responsibilities, and authority of Engineer in the Construction Contract, or modify other terms of the Construction Contract having a direct bearing on Engineer, then Owner shall compensate Engineer for any related increases in the cost to provide Construction Phase services. Engineer shall not be required to furnish or perform services contrary to Engineer’s responsibilities as a licensed professional. All of Owner’s instructions to Contractor will be issued through Engineer, which shall have authority to act on behalf of Owner in dealings with Contractor to the extent provided in this Agreement and the Construction Contract except as otherwise provided in writing.
General Administration of Construction Contract. 10.2.1. Architect shall consult with and advise District and act as District’s representative as provided in Document 00700 General Conditions and Division 1 Specifications (herein called the “General Conditions”). Architect shall perform all duties which the General Conditions provide will be performed by the “Architect” or “Architect/Engineer”.

All of District's instructions to the Contractor(s) will be issued through WEC, who shall have authority to act on behalf of District in dealings with the Contractor(s) to the extent provided in the Contract for Consulting/Professional Services except as otherwise provided in writing.

All of City's instructions to Contractor will be issued through Engineer who shall have authority to act on behalf of City in dealings with Contractor to the extent provided in the Agreement and said Contract Documents except as otherwise provided in writing. Engineer shall evaluate and render the initial opinions on all claims of City and Contractor relating to the acceptability of the work or the interpretation of the requirements of the Contract Documents pertaining to the execution and progress of the work.
General Administration of Construction Contract. Arcadis shall consult with and advise Client and act as Client's representative as provided in this Agreement. All of Client's instructions to Contractor will be issued through Arcadis who will have authority to act on behalf of Client to the extent provided in this Agreement.

All of Developer’s instructions to Contractor will be issued through ENGINEER who shall have authority to act on behalf of Developer in dealings with Contractor to the extent provided in this Agreement, except as otherwise provided in writing.
General Administration of Construction Contract. Consult with County and act as County’s representative as provided in the Construction Contract. The extent and limitations of the duties, responsibilities, and authority of Engineer as assigned in the Construction Contract shall not be modified, except as the parties may otherwise mutually agree in writing. Engineer shall have authority to act on behalf of County in dealings with the awarded contractor to the extent provided in this Agreement and the Construction Contract except as otherwise provided in writing.
General Administration of Construction Contract. 1.1 The ENGINEER shall consult with and advise OWNER and act as OWNER'S representative; shall issue all instructions of OWNER to Contractor; and shall act as initial interpreter of the Contract Documents and judge of the acceptability of the work thereunder.
