Employee laid off. An employee who is laid off shall be paid for any vacation due him at the beginning of the current calendar year and not previously taken, and, if not subsequently recalled to service during such year, shall, upon application, be allowed pay in lieu of any vacation due at the beginning of the following calendar year.

Employee laid off. (05) A full-time employee who is laid off may, upon being notified of such lay-off, elect, in writing, to take his unused current vacation due to them, and which were accumulated in the previous year and not taken, failing which they shall be paid for any vacation due to them at the beginning of the subsequent calendar year. Part-time employees shall be governed by the provisions of clause 12.20.
Employee laid off. Employees who are laid off shall continue to receive their current Health and Welfare coverage as per Article 19 for three (3) months following the month in which the lay off began. When recalled to work from lay-off, health and welfare benefits will commence the first day of the month following the recall. If a laid off employee is recalled to work for 160 hours or more, his or her health and welfare benefits shall continue for 3 months if subsequently laid off.
