CorVel has implemented third party backup and restoration technology to enable high speed recovery of data. CorVel utilizes redundant load balanced Win 2000 servers for 24x7, 365 day access, except for regularly scheduled system maintenance and upgrade processes. SQL Server databases are hosted on clustered servers offering fall-over capability, redundant communication links, and load balanced application servers. Backup tapes are restored into a test environment not less than quarterly to confirm validity of backups. The CareMC Site has redundant inbound Internet and Intranet connectivity.

Google Data Center Operations teams manage a robust business continuity planning (BCP) program targeted toward the probable business impacting events based on the region, environmental concerns, and business risks specific to Google-managed data centers. Business continuity planning is a continuous process. Plans are reviewed, and updated at least annually. Each site has developed specific BCP testing plans to exercise. Testing occurs monthly, for a total of 12 different types of tests conducted throughout the year for each global site. Each site retains both online (digital) and offline (paper) BCP materials to ensure that execution of plans can be performed regardless of network availability. Akamai's Information Security Program requires that Akamai engage in comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Akamai approaches that in a decentralized and customizable means such that its operations and employee planning match the platform's highly distributed and semi- autonomous nature, constituting Akamai’s Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). Version control of various types of Akamai configurations (i.e. delivery, security, etc.) is enabled within the management interface. Rollbacks can be initiated manually, however there are also internal mechanisms in place to initiate rollbacks automatically if certain error thresholds are observed during Production activations.
