Development of Curriculum. Upon completion of its study and report on the subject assigned to it, each subcommittee shall be considered dissolved, and once dissolved no subcommittee shall be re- activated except by mutual consent of the members of the PSC.
Development of Curriculum. Curricula are best developed by the staff and teachers who are to use them. The Superintendent, with any designee he/she appoints, will institute such curriculum development. When entire staff participation is not feasible, a system of representatives of staff and/or departments concerned shall form system-wide committees for study, creation, and revision of any particular curriculum. If at the discretion of the Superintendent, teachers are to be used in curriculum development work, they will each be compensated at the educational rate provided in Section 10 of Article 23. All such positions shall be posted in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. A dynamic instructional program requires ongoing alteration in the curriculum and courses of study. It is the policy of the School Committee that no basic course of study shall be eliminated or new courses added without the approval of the Committee, nor shall any sharp alteration or reduction of a course of study be made without such approval. When work is completed on the curriculum, the committee responsible for its development shall present it, through the Office of the Superintendent, to the School Committee. Development of Curriculum. BCSI shall provide to OCCA a general model for a curriculum of a charter school. BCSI shall provide assistance with the development of the curriculum of Charter School by supplying sample statements of principles, course outlines, suggesting resources, and reviewing and commenting on the proposed curriculum and teaching materials prepared by Charter School. All decisions with respect to the curriculum and teaching materials of Charter School shall be made solely by OCCA and shall be consistent with applicable laws and regulations and with the approved charter application for the Charter School. Development of Curriculum. College shall be fully responsible for the development, planning, and administration of the program, including, without limitation, programming, administration, matriculation, promotion, and graduation. College acknowledges and agrees that the field work experience is intended to meet certain educational performance objectives, and College shall provide a copy of such performance objectives to Mental Health Facility on or before student placement. Mental Health Facility shall be fully responsible for the availability and appropriateness of the learning environment in relation to the program's written objectives.
