Department Chair Responsibilities. 3.2.1 The appointment process and compensation for Department Chairs are considered a part of this contract. However, in no way shall the duties of the Department Chair be negotiable or grievable under the terms of this contract.

  • Department Responsibilities The use of sick leave may properly be denied if these procedures are not followed. Abuse of sick leave on the part of the employee is cause for disciplinary action.
