CUTTING AND PATCHING. Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating all cutting, fitting, and patching of the Work to make its several parts come together properly and fit to receive other Work or the work of others. Contractor shall be responsible for restoring all cut, fitted, or patched surfaces to an original condition; provided, however, that if a different condition is specified in the Contract Documents, then Contractor shall be responsible for causing such surfaces to meet the conditions specified in the Contract Documents. Contractor shall not damage or endanger completed Work, the existing improvements, or the work of Owner’s Separate Contractors. Contractor shall not cut or otherwise alter the work of Owner’s Separate Contractor except with prior written consent and Contractor shall not unreasonably withhold from Owner’s Separate Contractors consent to cutting or otherwise altering the Work.‌
