Construction Contract Documents. Those items designated as “Contract Documents” in the Construction Contract, and which together comprise the Construction Contract.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT at RISK FIRM or CM at RISK – the individual, corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, joint stock company, joint venture or other entity with whom the Owner has contracted pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149A, §§ 6 & 7, to provide Construction Management at Risk Services.

Construction Contract Documents. Unless otherwise stated in the proposal, construction contract documents shall be complete and accurate and submitted for review and acceptance by the STATE in accordance with the NJDOT Capital Project Procedures. The construction plans shall be prepared on media for reproduction in accordance with standard STATE practices and accompanied by Special Provisions as directed under “Specifications” on the Department website xxx.xx.xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxx - construction plans shall be prepared in accordance with “Sample Plans, 2007”.

Construction Contract Documents. Any changes to the construction contract documents (including scope, time and amount), authorized by the Sponsor, must be approved by the State prior to being implemented by the Sponsor in order to be eligible for reimbursement under the grant. All changes, as well as any notifications and approvals related to the changes, shall be documented in the final contract documents, change orders, and as built plans provided to the State at the end of the contract. Verbal requests and approvals are not sufficient as documentation for reimbursement. Final reimbursements will not be made until all documentation is received by the State.
