Common use of Conduct of Research Clause in Contracts

Conduct of Research. The Parties shall use Diligent Efforts to conduct their respective tasks throughout the Collaboration and shall conduct the Collaboration in good scientific manner, and in compliance in all material respects with the requirements of applicable laws, rules and regulations and all applicable good laboratory practices to attempt to achieve their objectives as efficiently and expeditiously as reasonably practicable.

Conduct of Research. The Parties shall use Diligent Efforts to conduct their respective tasks tasks, as assigned under the Research Plan, throughout the Collaboration Mode of Action Program and shall conduct the Collaboration Mode of Action Program in good scientific manner, and in compliance in all material respects with the requirements of applicable laws, rules and regulations and all applicable good laboratory practices to attempt to achieve their objectives as efficiently and expeditiously as reasonably practicableexpeditiously.

Conduct of Research. The Parties shall use Diligent Efforts to conduct their respective tasks throughout under the Collaboration and shall conduct the Collaboration Research Plan in good scientific manner, and in compliance in all material respects with the requirements of all applicable laws, rules and regulations and all applicable good laboratory practices to attempt to achieve their objectives as efficiently and expeditiously as reasonably practicable. Each Party shall use Diligent Efforts to complete its assigned activities under the Research Plan. Exelixis will not be required to incur any financial costs in excess of the Research Funding.

Except as set forth in Section 5.2, each Party shall bear its own costs in performing its obligations under the Collaboration.
