Change in Premium Amount. ‌ This Contract is renewable at Your option. Any renewal of this Contract will be subject to premium changes based on the rates then applicable. Except as provided in the following paragraph, We will give forty-five (45) days written notice to You of a premium change, at Your last address shown in Our records. Any change in premium will become effective on the date specified in the notice. Continued payment of premium will constitute acceptance of the change. Premiums are guaranteed for the Policy Year. However, We reserve the right to change premiums more often due to a change in the extent or nature of the risk that was not previously considered in the rate determination process at any time during the life of the Contract. This risk includes, but is not limited to, the addition of a newly covered person. Additionally, We reserve the right to change the premium if You request a change in Contract Benefits from that which was in force at the time of the last rate determination. If Your age was misstated, any amount payable or any indemnity accruing under this Contract shall be such as the premium paid would have purchased at the correct age. A clerical error will not void insurance which should be in force nor will it continue insurance which should have ended. If non-tobacco premiums are charged when tobacco premiums should have been charged, Company may retroactively adjust the premium and collect the appropriate premium.

This risk includes, but is not limited to, the right to increase the premium amount because of: (1) the addition of a newly covered person; (2) the addition of a newly covered entity; (3) a change in age or geographic location of any individual insured or policyholder; (4) or a change in the policy Benefit level from that which was in force at the time of the last rate determination. An increase in premium will become effective on the next billing date following the effective date of the change to the risk. Continued payment of premium will constitute acceptance of the change.

If because of a misstatement of age this Contract was issued at an age or was continued or renewed beyond an age at which it would not have been issued, continued or renewed, under Our underwriting rules in effect at the date of issue, the amount payable hereunder on account of loss occurring after such age, shall be limited to a return of the premiums paid thereafter. A clerical error will not void insurance which should be in force nor will it continue insurance which should have ended.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation.

  • Second Year Wage Adjustment Effective July 1, 2020, all salary ranges and rates shall be increased by two and one-half percent (2.50%), rounded to the nearest cent. Salary increases provided by this Section shall be given to all employees including those employees whose rates of pay exceed the maximum rate for their class. The compensation grids for classes covered by this Agreement are contained in Appendix E-2. Conversion to the new compensation grid shall not change an employee’s eligibility for step progression increases.

  • Automatic Recurring Payments You may use the xxxx payment function to arrange for the automatic payment of bills that have a fixed frequency and amount. Once your automatic xxxx payment arrangements are established, we will make the payments without further requests by you. If the payment due date for an automatic payment falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment may be made the following business day.

  • Available Funds-Contingency-Termination a. The State is prohibited by law from making commitments beyond the term of the current State Fiscal Year. Payment to Local Agency beyond the current State Fiscal Year is contingent on the appropriation and continuing availability of Agreement Funds in any subsequent year (as provided in the Colorado Special Provisions). If federal funds or funds from any other non-State funds constitute all or some of the Agreement Funds, the State’s obligation to pay Local Agency shall be contingent upon such non-State funding continuing to be made available for payment. Payments to be made pursuant to this Agreement shall be made only from Agreement Funds, and the State’s liability for such payments shall be limited to the amount remaining of such Agreement Funds. If State, federal or other funds are not appropriated, or otherwise become unavailable to fund this Agreement, the State may, upon written notice, terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, without incurring further liability. The State shall, however, remain obligated to pay for Services and Goods that are delivered and accepted prior to the effective date of notice of termination, and this termination shall otherwise be treated as if this Agreement were terminated in the public interest as described in §2.C.
