Cable System. A facility, consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, reception, and control equipment that is designed to provide Cable Service which includes video programming and which is provided to multiple Subscribers within the Township, but such term does not include (A) a facility that serves only to retransmit the television signals of one or more television broadcast stations; (B) a facility that serves Subscribers without using any public right-of-way; (C) a facility of a common carrier which is subject, in whole or in part, to the provisions of Title II of the Communications Act, except that such facility shall be considered a Cable System (other than for purposes of Section 621 of the Cable Act) to the extent that facility is used in the transmission of video programming directly to Subscribers unless the extent of that use is solely to provide interactive on-demand services; (D) an open video system that complies with Section 653 of the Cable Act; or (E) any facilities of any electric utility used solely for operating its electric utility systems.

Cable System. (a) The parties understand and agree that upon execution of this Agreement, Comcast has designed, constructed and shall maintain a Cable System covering the Township that utilizes fiber optic backbone connections from headend to hubs, hubs to hubs, and hubs to nodes. This Cable System has been built for analog and digital television standards with a bandwidth no less than 750 MHz with addressable technology with no less than one hundred fifty (150) video programming choices received for digital and/or analog transmission and shall allocate sufficient portion of said bandwidth to deliver reliable two-way Cable Services. The Cable System shall be capable of providing high definition television signals and Internet access service via cable modem.

Cable System. ‌ Grantee shall construct a Cable System that is based upon a fiber-to-the-node system architecture, with fiber-optic cable deployed from the Headend through a hub to the node and tying into a hybrid fiber-coaxial system serving Subscribers. Active and passive devices must be capable of passing UNOFFICIAL DOCUMENT a minimum of 750 MHz, and the Cable System must be capable of delivering high quality signals that meet, or exceed, FCC technical quality standards regardless of a particular manner in which signal is transmitted. During the term of this Franchise, the Grantee agrees to maintain the Cable System in a manner consistent with, or in excess of these specifications.
Cable System. Grantee’s Cable System will be able to deliver high quality signals that meet or exceed FCC technical quality standards regardless of any particular manner in which the signal is transmitted.
Cable System. Shall be as defined in the West Virginia Cable Law and, as used herein specifically refers to Franchisee’s Cable System. A reference to a Cable System includes pedestals, enclosures (such as equipment cabinets), amplifiers power guards, nodes, cables, fiber optics and other equipment necessary to operate the Cable System.
Cable System. Grantee shall maintain and operate a modern, high quality Cable System technically capable of delivering Customers’ choice of no fewer than 140 channels of digital programming. The Cable System shall be two-way activated; support interactive cable services; and shall be designed for optimum reliability and flexibility; and Grantee shall regularly evaluate the need for new programming or incorporating new technologies.

Cable System. A facility, consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, reception, and control equipment that is designed to provide cable service which includes video programming and which is provided to multiple subscribers within a community, but such term does not include (A) a facility that serves only to retransmit the television signals of one or more television broadcast stations; (B) a facility that serves subscribers without using any public right-of-way; (C) a facility of a common carrier which is subject, in whole or in part, to the provisions of Title II of the Communications Act of 1934, except that such facility shall be considered a cable system (other than for purposes of 47 U.S.C. ss. 541(c)) to the extent such facility is used in the transmission of video programming directly to subscribers, unless the extent of such use is solely to provide interactive on-demand services; (D) an open video system that complies with 47 U.S.C. ss. 573; or (E) any facilities of any electric utility used solely for operating its electric utility system.
Cable System. The Cable System design and operational capabilities shall be as described in Exhibit “B” herein.
Cable System. Defined in the Cable Ordinance, except that as used herein, it specifically refers to Franchisee’s Cable System. The term is used to refer to the Cable System as a whole, or to any part of the Cable System, including equipment or facilities appurtenant thereto, such as, by way of example and not limitation, equipment cabinets.
