Common use of Business Relationship Clause in Contracts

Business Relationship. The parties hereto agree that it is their intent to establish a business relationship between them by which the Licensee is an independent contractor. More specifically, this Agreement does not constitute the Licensee a legal representative, agent, joint venture, partner or employee of Licensor for any purpose whatsoever. The Licensee is not authorized to, nor shall the Licensee make, any contract, agreement, warranty or representation on behalf of the Licensor, nor shall the Licensee create any obligation, express or implied, on behalf of the Licensor.
