Common use of Bargaining Agent Clause in Contracts

Bargaining Agent. The EMPLOYERS are the principals and do not act as the agent of or bind the OWNER for any purpose relating to or arising out of the terms and conditions hereof. Each UNION signatory hereto agrees that it will confer and negotiate only with the EMPLOYERS or their duly authorized representatives on all matters in the administration, interpretation, and enforcement of the terms of this AGREEMENT. In the event of any violation of the terms of this AGREEMENT, the responsible and authorized representative of the UNIONS signatory hereto, or EMPLOYER, as the case may be, shall promptly take such affirmative action as is within their power immediately to correct and terminate the violation.
