Common use of Ballot Box Clause in Contracts

Ballot Box. The Employer agrees that, upon reasonable notice, the Union shall have the right to place ballot boxes in the workplaces of the Employer covered by this Agreement, for the purposes of conducting Union elections, polling or collective agreement votes. The Union agrees that voting by employees will be conducted on employees’ time and will not interfere with the operation of the company. Campaigning will not be done during working hours and will not interfere with the operation of the Company.
