Award Notices. If your application is successful, we notify your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators and send you a Grant Award Notification (GAN). We may notify you informally, also. If your application is not evaluated or not selected for funding, we notify you.
Award Notices. After your application has been reviewed, you will receive a letter from XXXXXX through postal mail that describes the general results of the review, including the score that your application received. If you are approved for funding, you will receive an additional notice through postal mail, the Notice of Award (NoA), signed by XXXXXX’s Grants Management Officer. The Notice of Award is the sole obligating document that allows you to receive Federal funding for work on the grant project. If you are not funded, you may re-apply if there is another receipt date for the program.
Award Notices. Successful applicants will receive a Notice of Award (NoA) signed and dated by the HHS Grants Management Officer. The NoA is the document authorizing the grant award and will be sent by electronic mail to the awardee as listed on its SF-424. Any communication between HHS and applicants prior to issuance of the NoA is not an authorization to begin performance of a project. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by letter, sent electronically or through the U.S. Postal Service to the applicant organization as listed on its SF-424, within 30 days of the award date. Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Subaward Reporting Requirement: Awards issued under this funding opportunity announcement are subject to the reporting requirements of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (Pub. L. 109-282), as amended by Section 6202 of Public Law 110-252 and implemented by 2 CFR Part 170. Grant and cooperative agreement recipients must report information for each first- tier subaward of $25,000 or more in Federal funds and executive total compensation for the recipient’s and subrecipient’s five most highly compensated executives as outlined in Appendix A to 2 CFR Part 170 (available online at xxx.xxxx.xxx).
Award Notices. Before the actual cooperative agreement is awarded, SSA may enter into negotiations and discussions with the applicant regarding program components, staffing and funding levels, and/or administrative systems in place to support cooperative agreement implementation. If the negotiations do not result in a mutually acceptable submission, SSA reserves the right to terminate the negotiations and decline to fund the award. SSA expects to announce the results of this competition in September 2024. SSA will provide successful applicants with a Notice of Award (NoA) that will set forth the amount of the award and other pertinent information. The NoA is the legal document issued to notify an applicant that an award has been made. The NoA will be sent through the U.S. Postal Service to the applicant listed on the SF-424; a copy will also be sent to the electronic mail address listed on the SF-424. The applicant’s signature on the SF-424, including electronic signature via E-Authentication on xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx, constitutes a binding offer by the applicant. Note that any communication between SSA and applicants prior to the issuance of the NoA and prior to the execution of any award agreement is not authorization to begin performance on the project. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified of their status by letter, which will likewise be sent through the U.S. Postal Service to the applicant listed on the SF-424. Unsuccessful applicants may not protest SSA’s decision. However, unsuccessful applicants may ask for specific feedback and apply under subsequent RFAs.
Award Notices. If the application is under consideration for funding, NIH will request "just-in-time" information from the applicant as described in the NIH Grants Policy Statement. A formal notification in the form of a Notice of Award (NoA) will be provided to the applicant organization for successful applications. The NoA signed by the grants management officer is the authorizing document and will be sent via email to the grantee's business official. Awardees must comply with any funding restrictions described in Section IV.5. Funding Restrictions. Selection of an application for award is not an authorization to begin performance. Any costs incurred before receipt of the NoA are at the recipient's risk. These costs may be reimbursed only to the extent considered allowable pre-award costs. Any application awarded in response to this FOA will be subject to terms and conditions found on the Award Conditions and Information for NIH Grants website. This includes any recent legislation and policy applicable to awards that is highlighted on this website. Individual awards are based on the application submitted to, and as approved by, the NIH and are subject to the IC-specific terms and conditions identified in the NoA. By law (Title VIII, Section 801 of Public Law 110-85), the "responsible party" must register and submit results information for certain "applicable clinical trials" on the XxxxxxxxXxxxxx.xxx Protocol Registration and Results System Information Website (xxxxx://xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx). The NGA shall be the only binding, authorizing document between the recipient and CDC. The NGA will be signed by an authorized Grants Management Officer, and mailed to the recipient fiscal officer identified in the application.

Award Notices. The recipient of a selected proposal will be notified by a separate letter saying that the proposal has been selected and that a completed application must be submitted by the due date of March 1, 2004. After the application is received, it must be reviewed and approved by EPA. The grant award signed by EPA’s Award Official is the legal document, which will be provided through postal mail or by electronic means. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by letter.
