Assumptions and Clarifications. A. It is assumed the City’s Master Thoroughfare Plan will be amended to classify Lovers Lane as a minor collector. The scope of services is based on a minor collector roadway section.
Assumptions and Clarifications. A. The scope of services does not include design effort for the traffic light at the Xxxxxx Road and Ranch Road intersection. It is assumed TxDOT will be responsible for any modifications to the traffic signal to accommodate the additional Ranch Road lanes. PMLS will coordinate with TxDOT, as required. Assumptions and Clarifications. The following assumptions were used by the ENGINEER for the preparation of this scope of Basic Services: • No construction plans will be prepared as part of the scope of this agreement. • It is assumed that no as-built information will be available, and it will need to be developed in the field by locating and measuring manholes and inlets. This effort is reflected in the Basic Services. If as-built information is available, it will be field verified. This effort is reflected in the Additional Services. These tasks are generally mutually exclusive. It is anticipated that the as-builts will either be obtained from the City and verified, or will be developed in the field, but not both. • No field surveying will be conducted as part of the scope of this agreement, though survey crews will be used to assist with field verification of as-builts or with field development of existing conditions if as-builts are not available. • Once as-built information has been obtained and verified, or developed in the field, it will be made available to the City for use in the City GIS system.
Assumptions and Clarifications. DELIVERABLE USE AND REUSE. Any reuse of completed documents or use of partially completed documents without written verification or concurrence by Carollo for the specific purposes intended will be at the City’s sole risk and without liability or legal exposure to Carollo. Xxxxxxx’x instruments of service hereunder are the printed hard copy of technical memorandums and reports issued for the Project, whereas electronic media, including Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) or modeling files, are tools for their preparation. As a convenience to the City, Carollo shall furnish to the City both printed hard copies and electronic media (where scoped). In the event of a conflict in their content, the printed hard copies shall take precedence over the electronic media. Because data stored in electronic media form can be altered, inadvertently, it is agreed that the City shall hold Carollo harmless from liability arising out of changes or modifications to Xxxxxxx’x data in electronic media form in the City’s possession or released to others by the City. • STANDARD OF CARE. Carollo shall perform the services required hereunder in accordance with the prevailing engineering standard of care by exercising the skill and ability ordinarily required of engineers performing the same or similar services, under the same or similar circumstances, in the State of California. Additionally, Carollo shall not be responsible for acts and decisions of third parties, including governmental agencies, other than Xxxxxxx’x subconsultants, that impact project completion and/or success. • CITY-PROVIDED INFORMATION AND SERVICES. The City shall furnish Carollo available studies, reports and other data pertinent to Xxxxxxx’x services; obtain or authorize Carollo to obtain or provide additional reports and data as required; furnish to Carollo services of others required for the performance of Xxxxxxx’x services hereunder, and Carollo shall be entitled to use and rely upon all such information and services provided by the City or others in performing Xxxxxxx’x services under this Agreement.
Assumptions and Clarifications. The CLIENT agrees to grant to the ENGINEER permission to enter the landfill property to conduct the required survey field work. The ENGINEER will provide the CLIENT with a tentative schedule for the survey field work activity. The CLIENT agrees to provide to the ENGINEER any past survey data, records, drawings, property access gate lock keys, and any other additional information necessary to support the completion of the services to be provided by the ENGINEER. Changes at the landfill site since the last monitoring well survey (2021) could affect the time, and consequently the fee to complete the field and office portions of the work. The ENGINEER will contact the CLIENT should additional time and cost be required to complete the work for the PROJECT. SECTION 3 TIME FOR PERFORMANCE DELIVERABLE SCHEDULE Mutually agreed delivery date.
Assumptions and Clarifications. The Owner shall authorize and cause the Architect to revise the Drawings and Specifications to the extent necessary to reflect the agreed-upon assumptions and clarifications contained in the GMP. Such revised Drawings and Specifications shall be furnished to the Construction Manager in accordance with schedules agreed to by the Owner’s Project Representative, Architect and Construction Manager. The Construction Manager shall promptly notify the Architect and Owner’s Project Representative if such revised Drawings and Specifications are inconsistent with the agreed-upon assumptions and clarifications.

Assumptions and Clarifications. A. The scope of services will be performed and executed concurrent with the Estate Lane Drainage and Crosswalk Improvements Project including the design, bidding, and construction.
Assumptions and Clarifications. The following assumptions were used by the ENGINEER for the preparation of this scope of Basic Services:  Construction plans will be prepared for public bidding, using the Invitation for Bid (IFB) process. It is assumed that as many as three separate bid packages will be issued (likely on for the Service Center and up to two for the other parking lots). Bid packages will include plans for necessary demolition, grading, paving, pedestrian elements including ramps, and landscaping and irrigation where appropriate. Construction plans will be complete and suitable for bidding and construction.  Unless specifically designated otherwise, the parking lots will be prepared to comply with the Denton Development Code (DDC) to the degree possible with respect to landscaping and development requirements. We will conduct one or more informal coordination meeting with selected staff from Development Services to assist us with DDC compliance. No formal submittals to Development Services are anticipated.  It is assumed that the parking spaces and drive aisles in the existing parking lots (other than at the Service Center) are large enough to meet current City of Xxxxxx parking standards, or can continue to be used as they currently are. No reconfiguration of any of the parking lots outside the Service Center are anticipated.  The ENGINEER will not prepare Traffic Control Plans. Criteria will be provided to the contractor identifying requirements of the Traffic Control Plan. The contractor will prepare and submit a Traffic Control Plan for review and approval by the City and the ENGINEER.  Except as specifically included in the site specific considerations below, it is assumed that there will be no storm drain design for any of the parking lots. In addition, no drainage area maps will be prepared for any of the parking lots, except as specifically described below.  No fire hydrants will be relocated or added at any of the parking lots.  No platting will be a part of the scope of this agreement.  In general, illumination will not be modified in the parking lots, except as specifically described below.  The following task/services are specifically excluded from this scope of work, but could be added as additional services if needed: o Water or Waste Water Lines o Construction Staking o Materials Testing o Environmental Assessments o Perimeter Street Design o Fencing o Electrical or Fiber Utilities Scope of Basic Services More particularly, the scope of the work will...
