Annual Research Plan. 2.7.1 The Joint Scientific Committee shall prepare and the Joint Management Committee shall approve the Annual Research Plan for every Contract Year (other than the First Contract Year) at least [**] prior to the commencement of such Contract Year. The Annual Research Plan for the First Contract Year shall be prepared by the Joint Scientific Committee and approved by the Joint Management Committee within [**] after the Effective Date.
Annual Research Plan. The Annual Research Plan for the first Commitment Year is described in the attached Exhibit B. For each Commitment Year after the first, the Annual Research Plan shall be prepared by the Research Committee for submission to and approval by Pfizer and Gensia no later than ninety (90) days before the end of the prior Commitment Year. Each new Annual Research Plan for each succeeding Commitment Year shall be appended to Exhibit B and made part of this Agreement. 2.3
Annual Research Plan. Each approved Research Program shall be conducted under an Annual Research Plan that describes the work to be pursued by the Parties during each calendar year. The first Annual Research Plan describing the expenses and activities anticipated for the then-current calendar year shall be developed by the Joint Steering Committee no later than sixty (60) days after the first Research Program has been approved. Thereafter, the
Annual Research Plan. The Research Project will be conducted under an Annual Research Plan which describes the work to be pursued by SIGNAL and DPM during the Research Year. The first Annual Research Plan shall be prepared by the RMC within forty-five (45) days after the Effective Date. Subsequent Annual Research Plans shall be prepared by the RMC, not later than sixty (60) days prior to the start of each Research Year. The Annual Research Plan shall outline the work on the Research Project proposed to be carried out during the subsequent Research Year and the number of FTEs to be assigned to such work.
Annual Research Plan. The Research Program shall be conducted in each Contract Year in accordance with the Annual Research Plan for such Contract Year. The adoption and modification of the Annual Research Plan shall be the responsibility of the JRC as set forth in Section 3.2. The Annual Research Plan for the period August 17, 2001 to December 31, 2002 is attached hereto as Exhibit 2.2.

At EYETECH’s request, the JRC shall include in the Annual Research Plan a plan to discover and develop Compounds against the Targets PDGF and VEGF, so long as the Parties obtain any necessary rights covering VEGF from Gilead. In the event the JRC fails to approve an Annual Research Plan due to a dispute over the contents of such Annual Research Plan, each Party shall have the right to refer such dispute to resolution pursuant to Section 11.2. Confidential Portions of this Exhibit were omitted and have been filed separately with the Secretary of the Commission pursuant to the Company’s application requesting confidential treatment under Rule 406 of the Securities Act.
Annual Research Plan. The CDK Research Program will be conducted under an annual research plan which describes the work to be pursued by Mitotix and DuPont Merck during the Research Year (the “Annual CDK Research Plan”). The first Annual CDK Research Plan shall be prepared by the CDK Research Operating Committee and approved by DuPont Merck with the concurrence of the Collaborative Policy Setting Committee within forty-five (45) days after the Effective Date. Subsequent Annual CDK Research Plans shall be prepared by the CDK Research Operating Committee, for submission to, and approval by, DuPont Merck with the concurrence of the Collaborative Policy Setting Committee, not later than sixty (60) days prior to the start of each Research Year.

Annual Research Plan. The particular Research projects to be carried out in each year of the Research Term will be described in the Annual Research Plan prepared by the JRC according to this Article 2.6. The Annual Research Plan will delineate the specific studies, number of researchers, timetable and technical goals to be pursued by Sequana and BI during the applicable year. The Annual Research Plan for the first year of the Research Term will be written by the JRC based on the outline in Exhibit A within ninety (90) days of the Effective Date and thereafter by each anniversary of the Effective Date.
Annual Research Plan. 3.3.1 An initial research plan shall be prepared by the RESEARCH COMMITTEE for submission to and approval by HYSEQ and XXXXXX-XXXXX no later than one hundred and twenty (120) days after execution of this Agreement.
