Years of Service definition

Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

Years of Service means each one year period for which the Participant receives service credit in accordance with the provisions of Section 7.01(d) of the Adoption Agreement.

Years of Service means each Plan Year of Service completed by the Participant. For vesting purposes, Years of Service shall be calculated from the date designated in the Adoption Agreement and Service shall be based on service with the Company and all Participating Employers.

Examples of Years of Service in a sentence

• Employees with Eleven (11) or more Years of Service: Four (4) hours for each fifty (50) hours worked.

• The pay period accrual below is based on a full-time status employee who is scheduled to work eighty (80) hours in each pay period: Years of Service Hours Accrued Per Pay Period Approximate Number of Hours Per Year Approximate Number of Days per Year 0 to 1.999 yrs.

• Vacation schedule shall be as follows: Years of Service Leave Accumulated After 1 year 40 Hours After 2 years 80 Hours After 5 years 120 Hours Said employee shall accumulate an additional eight (8) hours of leave with pay for each year of service after seven (7) years of service (e.g. eight (8) years = 128 hours, nine (9) years = 136 hours, etc.) up to 160 hours for twelve (12) years of service.

• All full time employees on the active payroll of the Company shall be entitled to vacation credits in accordance with the following schedule: Years of Service Length of Vacation 1 - 4 80 Hours 5 - 9 128 Hours 10 - 24 168 Hours 25 or more 176 Hours Seniority, as defined in Article 4, shall be used in this Article in place of years of service if an employee's seniority is greater than their years of service.

• The Board shall be responsible for the following stipends: Years of Service Over 25 10% 23-25 12% 19-22 14% 15-18 16% 10-14 10% These percentages shall become effective with the 1994-95 School year and current employees shall be “grandfathered” in the following manner.

More Definitions of Years of Service

Years of Service means the twelve (12) consecutive month period beginning on the Executive’s date of hire and any twelve (12) month anniversary thereof during the entirety of which time the Executive is an employee of the Bank. Service with a subsidiary or other entity controlled by the Bank before the time such entity became a subsidiary or under such control shall not be considered “credited service.”

Years of Service means the total number of twelve-month periods during which the Executive is employed on a full-time basis by the Company, inclusive of any approved leave of absence.

Years of Service means the total number of twelve-month periods during which the Director serves as a member of the Company's Board of Directors.

Years of Service means Participant’s total number of years of “accumulated service” as such term is defined with respect to salaried employees under the Retirement Plan for Koppers Inc. (regardless of whether Participant is eligible to receive a benefit under such plan).

Years of Service means each Plan Year of Service completed by the Participant. For vesting purposes, Years of Service shall be calculated from the date designated in the Adoption Agreement.

Years of Service means the Employee’s total years of employment with a Regency Entity, including years of employment with an entity that is acquired by a Regency Entity prior to such acquisition.

Years of Service means the aggregate period of time, expressed as a number of whole years and fractions thereof, during which the Participant was a member of the Board or served as an Employee (as applicable) in paid status.
