Wrongful Detention definition

Wrongful Detention means the wrongful detention, other than a Kidnapping or Hijacking, of an Insured Person against their will by a person or group for a period of at least twenty-four hours.

Wrongful Detention means the arbitrary or capricious act of involuntary confinement of an Insured Person(s) by person(s) acting as agent(s) of or with the tacit approval of any government or governmental entity, or acting or purporting to act on behalf of any insurgent party, organisation or group. A connected series of Wrongful Detentions will be considered one Wrongful Detention.

Wrongful Detention means the holding under duress of an Entitled Person for a period in excess of six (6) hours for whatever reason and whether by authorities legally constituted in the place of custody or by others.
