Workplace Representatives definition

Workplace Representatives means a person(s) nominated by an employee or employees to represent them in accordance with this Agreement, which may be the Association.
Workplace Representatives includes but is not limited to an NSWNA workplace representative or delegate.
Workplace Representatives includes but is not limited to an ANMF workplace representative or delegate.

Examples of Workplace Representatives in a sentence

  • Where employees covered by this Agreement at their discretion elect Employee Workplace Representative/s (EWR) the EWR/s will be allowed reasonable approved time to carry out functions associated with his/her role on matters that pertain to this Agreement and the employer, employee relationship.

  • Elected Delegates and Deputy Delegates, and Workplace Representatives and Contacts, shall assist the Union to organise and represent workers in the workplace.

  • A Workplace Representative may request that they be removed from the list of authorised Workplace Representatives and such request shall be complied with as soon as practicable.

More Definitions of Workplace Representatives

Workplace Representatives means an ASU member or members elected by the membership from the membership appointed under the rules of the Union, whose role is to effectively represent the interests of members at the workplace.
Workplace Representatives includes but is not limited to an NSWNMA workplace representative or delegate.
Workplace Representatives includes but is not limited to an Association workplace representative or delegate.
Workplace Representatives means the member of the B.U. who has been elected or the member in the school with the most seniority to coordinate OSSTF/FEESO activities and share information with members within the workplace, at the direction of the B.U. Executive.

DATE AND PERIOD OF OPERATION This Agreement shall commence from the date of certification and shall remain in force until I December 2016. PARTIES BOUND This Agreement is binding on the Port Pirie Regional Council and its employees employed pursuant to the Award and Australian Services Union in respect to its members. RELATIONSHIP To PARENT AWARD AND COMMITMENT To COLLECTIVE BARGAINING This Agreement shall be read in conjunction with the terms of the South6.1 Australian Municipal Salaried Officers' Award provided that where there is any inconsistency between this Agreement and the Award, this Agreement shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency. During the life of this Agreement Council will bargain collectively with its employees through the Union in respect of the Council's new and existing employees whose terms and conditions have been covered by the Award. The flexibility to enter into Hours Agreements to cover individuals or groups of employees as provided for in Clause 517.1.

Related to Workplace Representatives

  • Workplace Representative means a person:

  • Disclosure Representative means the Finance Director, or his or her designee, or such other person as the Issuer shall designate in writing to the Disclosure Dissemination Agent from time to time as the person responsible for providing Information to the Disclosure Dissemination Agent.

  • Employee Representative means the authorized representative of employees at a site where there is a recognized labor organization representing employees.

  • Procurement Representative means the person authorized by ULA’s cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • Authorised Representatives the persons respectively designated as such by the Authority and the Supplier, the first such persons being set out in Schedule 4. Bribery Act: the Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and any subordinate legislation made under that Act from time to time together with any guidance or codes of practice issued by the relevant government department concerning the legislation. Change: any change to this agreement including to any of the Services. Change Control Note: the written record of a Change agreed or to be agreed by the parties pursuant to the Change Control Procedure.

  • Management Representative means an individual designated to hear grievances on behalf of the University.

  • Resident Representative means (if any) the individual (or, if permitted in accordance with the Companies Acts, the company) appointed to perform the duties of resident representative set out in the Companies Acts and includes any assistant or deputy Resident Representative appointed by the Board to perform any of the duties of the Resident Representative;

  • Contractor’s Representative means the individual authorised to act on behalf of the Contractor for the purposes of the Contract. The initial Contractor’s representative is as indicated in the Form of Agreement.

  • Designated Contract Representative(s) means those individual(s) designated by the Contractor on the Pre-Work form during the Pre-Work Conference.

  • Workplace Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct against a worker in a workplace that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome”. Ref: Occupational Health and Safety Act, Sec. 1 (1). The employee rights set out above shall be interpreted within the context of the Ontario Human Rights Code. An employee who believes that she has been harassed, contrary to this provision shall be encouraged by both parties to follow the Employer’s policy on harassment and process. Failing resolution, an employee may follow the process set out in the Complaint, Grievance and Arbitration procedure in Article 8 of the Collective Agreement. The employee shall be encouraged by both parties to exhaust these processes prior to filing a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission.

  • Workplace violence means any incident in which an employee is abused, threatened or assaulted during the course of his or her employment, and includes but is not limited to all forms of harassment, bullying, intimidation and intrusive behaviours of a physical or emotional nature.

  • Workplace safety means those conditions related to physical health and safety of employees enforceable under federal or state law, or District rule related to: safety of the physical work environment, the safe operation of workplace equipment and tools, provision of protective equipment, training and warning requirements, workplace violence and accident risk.

  • Engineer’s Representative means the official in the civil/ electrical engineering department who is authorized to be in-charge of the work to which these presents relate. It shall include any other official nominated to attend to the supervision of day to day execution of the work to which this CONTRACT relates.

  • Representative means, with respect to any Person, any and all directors, officers, employees, consultants, financial advisors, counsel, accountants and other agents of such Person.

  • Authorized Company Representative means any person who, at the time, shall have been designated to act on behalf of the Company by a written certificate furnished to the Issuer, the Remarketing Agent and the Trustee containing the specimen signature of such person and signed on behalf of the Company by any officer of the Company. Such certificate may designate an alternate or alternates.

  • LOCKHEED MARTIN Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED MARTIN's cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • Principal’s Representative means the person nominated by the Principal or other person from time to time appointed in writing by the Principal to act as the Principal’s Representative for the purposes of the Contract.
