Workforce Housing Unit definition

Workforce Housing Unit means a residential unit that is purchased or rented by a qualified household and meets the requirements as defined by this Agreement.
Workforce Housing Unit means a dwelling unit that is offered for rent at a monthly rate that does not exceed an amount equal to thirty percent of eighty percent of the monthly median income level for a family of four in the Metropolitan Statistical Area to which Durham is assigned by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development at the time of the calculation. Company may adjust the rental rate for an Affordable Housing Unit annually when United States Department of Housing and Urban Development publishes income information.
Workforce Housing Unit means a Residential Unit, the occupancy of which is restricted to a Qualified Workforce Household.

Examples of Workforce Housing Unit in a sentence

  • Photocopies of all income certifications shall be submitted to the City or its designee within thirty (30) days after the tenant's lease execution of an Affordable Workforce Housing Unit on the Property.

  • Beginning with the first occupancy of any Workforce Housing Unit, the Developer shall provide an annual report (“Annual Report”) to the City regarding the Workforce Housing Units during the previous calendar year, which shall be submitted by March 1 of each year.

  • By execution of a lease for a workforce Housing Unit, each Workforce Housing Unit tenant shall be deemed to represent and warrant to the City and Developer, each of whom may rely thereon, that the Workforce Housing Unit tenant meets, and will continue to meet, all eligibility requirements contained in this Covenant for the rental of a Workforce Housing Unit.

  • A Household’s income eligibility to rent a Workforce Housing Unit is determined by calculating the Annual Household Income for a Household occupying a Workforce Housing Unit.

  • The maximum allowable monthly rent (“Maximum Monthly Rent”) for each Workforce Housing Unit shall be the Fair Market Rent for each specific bedroom size.

  • Any use of the For Sale Dwelling or any activity thereon which is inconsistent with the purpose of this Deed Restriction is expressly prohibited, unless the Affordable Workforce Housing Unit is leased out in accordance with the terms of Section 2(a).

  • To be considered an Eligible Purchaser of an Affordable Workforce Housing Unit for sale (For Sale Dwelling), the individual or household must own and occupy the For Sale Dwelling as his, her or their principal residence, meets the definition of Workforce Resident, and comply with the Maximum Income limits stated herein.

  • Annual Household Income for a Workforce Housing Unit shall be within the Designated Income Range.

  • Developer may transfer a Workforce Housing Unit to a Market-Rate Unit as necessary to allow an Over-Income Tenant to remain in the unit.

  • Following any change in designation of a Workforce Housing Unit, the Developer shall designate the next available, like-sized Market-Rate Unit on the Property as a Workforce Housing Unit to bring the Property into conformity with this Covenant.

Workforce Housing Unit means a rental dwelling unit occupied by an eligible workforce
Workforce Housing Unit means a rental apartment that shall be leased to a Qualified Tenant.

Workforce Housing Unit means a dwelling unit that is made available to own or rent to a family with an income of 120 percent or less of the area median income as determined by the Oregon Housing Stability Council based on information from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and whose affordability is enforceable, including as described in ORS 456.270 to 456.295, for a duration of no less than 30 years.
Workforce Housing Unit shall have the same meaning ascribed to it in Section 118-1050 of the Zoning Regulations.

  • Workforce housing means housing for sale or rent with combined rental costs

  • Affordable Housing Units – means the Affordable Housing to be provided as part of the development in accordance with the application and/or any subsequent reserved matters approval.

  • Affordable housing development means a development included in the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, and includes, but is not limited to, an inclusionary development, a municipal construction project or a 100 percent affordable development.

  • Target housing means any housing constructed prior to 1978, except housing for the elderly or persons with disabilities (unless any one or more children age 6 years or under resides or is expected to reside in such housing for the elderly or persons with disabilities) or any 0-bedroom dwelling.

  • Affordable Housing Cost means an amount satisfied by:

  • Stormwater management planning area means the geographic area for which a stormwater management planning agency is authorized to prepare stormwater management plans, or a specific portion of that area identified in a stormwater management plan prepared by that agency.

  • Stormwater management plan means the set of drawings and other documents that comprise all the information and specifications for the programs, drainage systems, structures, BMPs, concepts and techniques intended to maintain or restore quality and quantity of stormwater runoff to pre-development levels.

  • Elderly Housing means housing intended for and only occupied by Elderly persons, including a family in which all members are Elderly. All household members must be Elderly (no children, and no disabled persons under the age of 62).

  • Residential real property means real property improved by a one to four family dwelling used or occupied, or intended to be used or occupied, wholly or partly, as the home or residence of one or more persons, but shall not refer to (a) unimproved real property upon which such dwellings are to be constructed or (b) condominium units or cooperative apartments or (c) property on a homeowners’ association that is not owned in fee simple by the seller.

  • Moderate income housing means housing occupied or reserved for occupancy by households with a gross household income equal to or less than 80% of the median gross income for households of the same size in the county in which the city is located.

  • Stormwater management means the programs to maintain quality and quantity of stormwater runoff to pre-development levels.

  • Residential housing or "Residence" means a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling located within the State that qualifies for financing by the Authority within the meaning of the Act, the Rules and Regulations, the Code and related regulations.

  • Affordable housing program(s means any mechanism in a municipal Fair Share Plan prepared or implemented to address a municipality’s fair share obligation.
