Work Rules definition

Work Rules means departmental regulations relating to working conditions.
Work Rules means the Rules laid down by the Gateway Bridge Company relating to the performance of any function associated with the collection of tolls and/or the flow of traffic over the Bridge and Motorways, or other such rules that are in force in a particular workplace from time to time.
Work Rules means those practices, policies, and procedures established and adopted by the Agency concerning the employee’s terms and conditions of employment.

The Board, upon the recommendation of the Commissioner, has the final hiring authority for all newly created professional staff positions, including any Deputy Commissioner. Temporary employees may be separated, at any time, without notice or grievance rights. Temporary employees do not receive benefits except as provided by Neb. Rev. Stat. §84-1601 et seq. A temporary position may be a full-time or part-time position. Employment in a temporary position shall not count toward a Department service date or original probationary period. 002.04 Fixed-Term. A fixed-term employee is an employee hired in a fixed-term position. A fixed-term position is a position which, due to the funding source, has a predetermined duration of employment which is designated at the time of hire subject to the continuation and availability of funding. Fixed-term positions may be worked on a full-time or part-time schedule and are subject to all the provisions of these Personnel Rules except for the provisions of Chapter 12, Sections 003 through 009 of this Title. 002.05 Contract Employee. Contract employee means an individual with whom the Department has entered into a contract under the Department’s policies regarding contracting, which creates an employer-employee relationship. Work Rules. The Employer may establish reasonable work rules. Work rules are defined as anything an employee may be disciplined for. The Employer agrees to furnish each employee in the bargaining unit with a copy of the work rules. New employees shall be provided with a copy of the work rules at the time of hire. It is further agreed that management has an obligation to explain any rules and regulations to employees and, accordingly, it is also agreed that said employees shall sign an appropriate document indicating that such explanation has occurred. In the event of a conflict between the terms and conditions of this Agreement and any County or Department resolutions, ordinances, policies, or rules and regulations, the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall prevail.
Work Rules. Any unresolved complaint as to the reasonableness of any new or existing rule, or any complaint involving discrimination in the application of new or existing rules shall be resolved through the grievance procedure.
