WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. In order to maintain consistency in schedule and instructional program for students, the regular bell schedule shall be maintained. Teachers and providers may be required, complying with social distancing and appropriate PPE, to report to provide services in-person as directed by the District in consultation with the Sacramento County Health Department and the Sacramento County Office of Education, with prior notification and consultation. Additional modifications to current contract language are:
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. A. Length of School Day - The length of the normal school working day for all teaching staff will be seven (7) hours and forty (40) minutes, including any lunch and planning time. This time may be extended to include the monthly faculty meeting, department and grade level meetings, and conferences, or changes to the calendar that necessitate the work day to be extended no more than eight (8) hours.

WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. A. Certificated staff shall begin their in-building work day thirty (30) minutes before the students’ school day begins and continue until thirty (30) minutes after the students’ school day ends. The total length of the in-building work day shall be seven and one-half (7 ½) continuous hours.
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. 3.2.1 The length of the workday shall be designated by the employer for each classified assignment. Each bargaining unit employee shall be assigned regular minimum number of hours per day.
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. A. Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapist and Licensed Practical Nurse shall work the same calendar as teachers.
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. Section 2: Unit E members shall work at their assigned duties each day for whatever reasonable time may be necessary. The work week for Unit E employees is generally thirty-seven and one-half (37-½) hours per week excluding their unpaid meal breaks each day. Unit E members may be required at times to work for more than 37-½ hours in a week in connection with time sensitive work. The employee’s Supervisor outside of the NTA will make a reasonable effort to allow for the use of flexible time within the same or following pay period for an employee who has been required to work more than 37-½ hours per week.
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. 4.1 The length of the work day and work year of each employee covered by this Agreement will be determined at the sole discretion of the School Committee upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools. Each employee covered by this Agreement will be notified by August 1, preceding the start of each school year, of the employee’s starting and dismissal times and of the scheduled work year.
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR. Hours of service, duty day, duty week, and duty year shall be as assigned by the School District and modified from time to time based upon the needs of the program. Preparation shall be provided consistent with ARTICLE VI, Section 2. Said time shall be provided, in accordance with the “ECFE Handbook.”
