Withholding Taxes definition

Withholding Taxes means any taxes, including, but not limited to, social security and Medicare taxes and federal, state and local income taxes, required to be withheld under any applicable law.
Withholding Taxes means the federal, state and local income taxes and the employee portion of the federal, state and local employment taxes required to be withheld by the Corporation in connection with the issuance of the shares of Common Stock which vest under the Award and any phantom dividend equivalents distributed with respect to those shares.

Examples of Withholding Taxes in a sentence

  • If We provide You with valid and official documentation issued by the relevant taxing authority for a lower rate of Withholding Taxes, then You will apply the lower rate.

  • If Company is required by applicable law to deduct or withhold income taxes from amounts payable to McAfee under this Agreement (Withholding Taxes), Company will remit, and provide McAfee with evidence that Company has remitted, the Withholding Taxes to the appropriate taxing authority and pay to McAfee the remaining net amount.

  • If McAfee provides Company with valid and official documentation issued by the relevant taxing authority for a lower rate of Withholding Taxes, then Company will apply the lower rate.

Withholding Taxes means the aggregate minimum amount of federal, state, local and foreign income, payroll and other taxes that the Company and any Affiliates are required to withhold in connection with any Award.
