Wharfage definition

Wharfage means the basic dues recoverable on all cargo/ container landed or shipped or transshipped within the port limits or passing through the declared landing stage of the port, whether porterage was provided by the port or not.
Wharfage means the charges that the county assesses pursuant to the tariff (Port of Miami-Dade Tariff) or otherwise against the cargo or vessel on all cargo passing or conveyed over, into, or under wharves or between vessels (to or from barge, lighter, or water), when berthed at a wharf or when moored in a ship adjacent to the wharf.
