Western Zone means all coastal waters west of the meridian of longitude 136° 30′ 00″ east. (4) This regulation shall apply to abalone taken by an unlicensed person only. 24. (1) Blue crab (Portunus pelagicus) shall be undersize if its length as shown in diagram 3 of Schedule 7 is less than 11 centimetres when measured from side to side at the base of the spines. (2) A sand crab (Ovalipes australiensis) is undersize if its length as shown in diagram 3A of schedule 7 is less than 10 centimetres when measured from side to side at the widest point of its carapace. (3) A giant crab (Pseudocarcinus gigas) is undersize if its length, as shown in diagram 3B of schedule 7, is less than 15 centimetres when measured from the top to the bottom of its carapace. 26. Garfish (Hyporhamphus melanochir) shall be undersize if its length as shown in diagram 4 of Schedule 7 is less than 21 centimetres from the foremost part of the upper jaw to the end of the tail fin. 27. (1) A rock lobster is undersize if it is— (a) in the case of a rock lobster taken from the waters of the Northern Zone Rock Lobster Fishery—less than 10.2 centimetres in length as shown in diagram 5A of schedule 7; (b) in any other case—less than 9.85 centimetres in length as shown in diagram 5B of schedule 7.
