Welfare Program definition

Welfare Program means a written arrangement incorporated into this Plan that is offered by the Employer which provides an employee benefit, including those that would be treated as an “employee welfare benefit plan” under Section 3(l) of ERISA if offered separately. Welfare Program also means any plan established pursuant to Section 125 or Section 132(f) of the Code. Each Welfare Program under the Plan is identified in Appendix A which is incorporated into and a part of the Plan. The documents for each Welfare Program are incorporated into this document. The Employer may add or delete a Welfare Program from the Plan by amending Appendix A, without any need to otherwise amend the Plan. Amendment of Appendix A may be made by any authorized officer or representative of the Employer and shall not require approval by the Employer’s Board of Directors.
Welfare Program means each item identified in Appendix A, as it may be updated from time to time. The terms of each Welfare Program, as they may be set out in the Policies, contracts, or other documents with respect to the Welfare Program, shall form a part of this Plan in the same manner as if all the terms and provisions thereof were included in this Plan document. Any Welfare Programs and the corresponding Appendix A will also include any and all amendments, or replacement plans or documents, and summaries, policies, and contracts, if any, for such period(s) during which the document is in effect. Any amendment or replacement of any of the documents comprising the Welfare Programs and of Appendix A, may be certified by a duly authorized officer of the Company, and may be updated as required, without any need to amend this document.

More Definitions of Welfare Program

Welfare Program means the welfare benefits offered as part of this Plan, identified in Appendix B, and described in the Welfare Program Documents.
Welfare Program means a program of benefits that is offered by the Plan Sponsor (and/or another Employer) under the Plan to provide certain employee group health and/or welfare benefits coverage to eligible individuals which would be an “employee welfare benefit plan” under Section 3(1) of ERISA if offered separately. The Welfare Programs are incorporated into this Wrap-SPD, which is, in turn, incorporated into the Wrap-Plan. Each Welfare Program under the Plan is identified in Appendix B of this Wrap-SPD. The Plan Sponsor may add or delete a Welfare Program from the Plan by amending Appendix B of this Wrap-SPD.
Welfare Program means a written arrangement that is: (1) offered by an Employer and (2) the written terms of which are incorporated into this Plan by identification on Appendix B hereto. With respect to any benefit or arrangement that is underwritten by insurance, the insurance policy or contract and, if applicable, separate benefits eligibility document, shall constitute its written terms and be incorporated herein. With respect to any other benefit or arrangement, only the formal plan document (which may also serve as the summary plan description) designated as such shall constitute its written terms and be incorporated herein.
Welfare Program means a Welfare Program Document incorporated into this Plan that is offered by the Company and/or an Employer that provides any Employee a benefit that would be treated as an “employee welfare benefit plan” under Section 3(1) of ERISA if offered separately. Amendment of Appendices A, B and C may be made by the Plan Administrator or any authorized member or representative of the Plan Administrator and shall not require formal approval by the Board of Directors.
