Weapons definition

Weapons means an instrument or device of any kind that is used or designed to be used to inflict harm including, but not limited to, rifles, handguns, shotguns, antique fire- arms, knives, swords, bows and arrows, BB guns, pellet guns, air rifles, electronic or other stun devices, or fighting imple- ments.
Weapons means any of the following:
Weapons means any instrument, excluding restraining devices, chemical control agents and electronic control devices, with an intended use of self-defense, protection of another, or to gain or maintain compliance from an individual.

Weapons means an instrument or device of any kind that is designed to be used to inflict harm on another person. For example, BB guns, pellet guns, air rifles, stun guns, antique guns, bows and arrows, handguns, rifles, shotguns, knives.
Weapons means any item by virtue of its nature that could cause injury to human beings and endanger the safety of the aircraft, the crew and Passengers; and
Weapons means a firearm as defined in 18 USC Section 921 for the purposes of the Gun-Free Schools Act. The penalty for a weapons violation under this law is a mandatory one year suspension from school. AWeapon@ may also mean any other device, instrument, material or substance which can cause physical injury or the threat of physical injury. The penalty for a violation under this definition could range from a five (5) day suspension to suspension for up to the remainder of the school year.
Weapons means any firearm whether loaded or unloaded; any chemical, substance, device, or instrument designed as a weapon or through its use capable of threatening or producing bodily harm or death; or any device or instrument that is used to threaten, strike terror, or cause bodily harm or death.
Weapons as used herein means centerfire rifles (primer located in center of base of case), rimfire rifle, 22 short, 22 long, 22 long rifle, 5 mm rimfire, bow (longbow or crossbow), muzzleloader (rifle or shotgun receiving powder and lead projectile through end of muzzle), shotgun, pistol, spear, hand powered projectile, blowgun, legal raptor, dog, and sling shot.
Weapons means any type of firearm, knife, dagger, dirk, stiletto, a double-edged non-folding stabbing instrument, taser, brass knuckles, any other type of instrument which could be used as a weapon and any type of explosive, chemicals or objects or instruments possessed for use of fighting or attacking.

Some examples of weapons are: Guns (including pellet guns, look alike guns, and nonfunctioning guns that could be used to threaten others), knives, clubs, metal knuckles, numchucks, throwing stars, explosives, stun guns, and ammunition. A student who finds a weapon on the way to school or in the school building and takes the weapon immediately to the office shall not be considered in possession of a weapon. “Possession” refers to having a weapon on one’s person or in an area subject to one’s control on school property or at a school activity.
