Benefit year means the period of twelve consecutive months, July 1 through June 30, as established by an employer in which an employee shall accrue and use earned sick leave as provided pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11D-2, provided that once the starting date of the benefit year is established by the employer it shall not be changed unless the employer notifies the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development of the change in accordance with regulations promulgated pursuant to the Act. The Commissioner shall impose a benefit year on any employer the Commissioner determines is changing the benefit year at times or in ways that prevent the accrual or use of earned sick leave by an employee.
Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:
Project Year means the 12 month period beginning from the Effective Date and ending 12 months thereafter and each successive 12 month period following thereafter;
Work week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year; i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.
Contract Year means each period of twelve (12) consecutive months during the Initial Term of this Agreement, with the first Contract Year commencing on the Effective Date, and with each subsequent Contract Year commencing on the anniversary of the Effective Date.
Water Year means the period commencing with October 1 of 1 year 20 and extending through September 30 of the next; and
First Year means the intake group of Students for the most junior class or year in a school.
Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.
Term Year means a 12-month period beginning on the first day of the Term and each successive 12-month period thereafter.
Date of Commencement of Risk means the date specified in the Schedule (unless the Policyholder is informed otherwise by the Company) from which the risk cover of the Life Assured commences under the Policy.
Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.
Minimum Hire Period means the Minimum Hire Period as described on the invoices, quotation, authority to hire, or any other forms as provided by the Supplier to the Client.
Service credit year means an accumulation of months of
Extension Term means the time period defined in §2.C.

STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.
Agreement Year means the period of twelve months beginning on the last date of execution of this Agreement or any anniversary thereof;
Lease Year means each consecutive twelve-month period beginning with the Commencement Date, except that if the Commencement Date is not the first day of a calendar month, then the first Lease Year shall be the period from the Commencement Date through the final day of the twelve months after the first day of the following month, and each subsequent Lease Year shall be the twelve months following the prior Lease Year.
Commencement Date of the Contract means the date of signing of the Contract between the Purchaser and the Contractor.
Annual Benefit means an annual sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) multiplied by the Applicable Percentage (defined below) and then reduced to the extent required: (i) under the other provisions of this Agreement; (ii) by reason of the lawful order of any regulatory agency or body having jurisdiction over the Employer; and (iii) in order for the Employer to properly comply with any and all applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, income, employment and disability income tax laws (eg., FICA, FUTA, SDI).
Budget year means the financial year of the municipality for which an annual budget is to be approved in terms of section 16(1) of the MFMA;
Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.
Working Week means an average of 48 hours each week calculated over a 17-week reference period.
Annual Renewal Date means the date in any calendar year, subsequent to the year in which the Policy comes into effect, corresponding numerically with the Policy Commencement date in that subsequent year.
Benefit Commencement Date means, for any Participant or beneficiary, the date as of which the first benefit payment, including a single sum, from the Participant’s Account is due, other than pursuant to a withdrawal under Article VIII.
Grant Year has the same meaning as in subclause 1(1) of Schedule 1 of HESA; ‘HESA’ means the Higher Education Support Xxx 0000; ‘maximum basic grant amount’ or ‘MBGA’ has the same meaning as in subclause 1(1) of Schedule 1 of HESA.
