Wages definition

Wages is defined as the amount of money the employee would have otherwise received over a period of absence.
Wages and "salaries" means earnings in eligible employment under this chapter
Wages means all remuneration whether by way of salaries, allowances or otherwise, expressed in terms of money or capable of being so expressed which would, if the terms of employment, express or implied, were fulfilled, be payable to a person employed in respect of his employment or of work done in such employment, and includes,—

  • Said retainage shall be held by the City for a period of 30 days after the Completion Date, or until receipt of all necessary releases from the State Department of Revenue and State Employment Security Department, including Affidavits of Wages paid for the Contractor and each and every subcontractor, and until settlement of any liens filed under Chapter 60.28 RCW, whichever is later.

Wages and "salaries" means the member's earnings in eligible employment under
Wages. The term "wages" shall mean the compensation prescribed in this Agreement.
